During the weeks of February 22-March 12, the middle school Helping Kids Everyday club sponsored a backpack and coat drive to help support several orphanages in the local area. As Korean schools begin their new school years, this seemed like the perfect time to practice the YISS ESLR’s of being compassionate and servant-hearted.

The members collected approximately 50 coats and jackets and a dozen backpacks donated by the middle school community. The club would like to offer a special thanks to Ryanghee Ahn for helping to transport the items and being the liaison with the local organizations.
