Elementary Open House Welcomes Parents

The elementary school administrators and teachers were eager to welcome families to the Elementary School Open House on August 27. The evening began promptly at 6:00 p.m. with a welcome presentation given by Elementary School Principal Mr. Marshall in the auditorium. Families were then dismissed to visit their child’s classroom to meet their child’s teacher, view the classroom, and learn more about class policies, procedures, and curriculum. 

The halls were busy as parents made their way to many of their child’s related arts classes. From the music room and gym located in the basement level to the world language classes on the 1st floor and the library and art classroom on the 2nd floor, parents covered a lot of ground.

Although it was a long evening for parents with multiple elementary children, the Elementary School Open House provided a great opportunity for parents to get to know their child’s teachers better and get a glimpse of their child’s life at school.
