HS Community Gathers for Back-to-School Picnic

The HS Student Council and HS Administration teamed up to organize and sponsor the fourth annual HS Guardian Night on Friday, August 9. Approximately 150 high school students, parents, teachers, and staff came together in the YISS courtyard for the event. 

New high school principal Dr. Bayyan and assistant principal Mr. Hostetter donned aprons and grilled delicious cheeseburgers and hotdogs for all attendees, while student council members greeted attendees and helped serve the food. 

Despite the high temperatures, many students enjoyed the opportunity to play in the gym and on the soccer field. The picnic gave both new and returning families and students a chance to come together and get better acquainted with others in the YISS community.
