On Thursday, September 17, our kindergarten classes hosted publishing parties on the virtual platform Seesaw to show off their first stories of the year. In previous years, this publishing event has been celebrated with a “We Are Writers” parade so that students and staff can cheer on the kindergarteners as they display their first published story. This year, peers and staff were invited to leave encouraging messages on students’ works published on Seesaw.

These stories were the result of the very first writing unit of the year, and the kindergarteners were so proud to show how much they had learned.
