12th Annual Jingle Bell Splash Sets New Records

What a joy to once again, after three long years, welcome students from other schools for our 12th Jingle Bell Splash last Saturday.

Over 100 YISS Guardians escaped freezing December temperatures to dive into our heated pool and set some blazing times! Several KASS records have been set by some of them, as well! Congratulations to:

  • Corinne Chon:

    • Girls 13-14, 100m Freestyle, 1:08.68

  • Joyce Kim:

      • Girls 15 Over, 100m Freestyle, 1:01.19

      • Girls 15 Over, 50m Butterfly, 31.54

  • Chloe S. Park

      • Girls 13-14, 100m Breaststroke, 1:26.12

      • Girls 13-14, 100m IM, 1:18.97

  • Sophie Chon

  • Girls 15 Over, 100m Breaststroke, 1:23.52

What would an event of such magnitude be without its volunteers, marshalls, chaperones, lane timers, and more! I would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who helped the event run smoothly.

After CI in October and YISS in December, SFS will host the third 2022-2023 KASS (KAIAC All Age Swim Series) swim meet on March 4, 2023! See you all there!

You can read the complete results here or watch one of the live streams: 10&U | 11&O

Merry Christmas to everyone!
